World Record Holder. International Gold Medallist. Hall Of Fame Scholarship Recipient. At 18 years of age, Alec Potts has results worthy of a component twice his age. Shooting both recurve and compound, 2014 shows no signs of slowing for Alec.

Recurve: 30” Doinker Platinum with 5oz, 3” Doinker Platinum extender and 15” side rods with 4oz on each rod, as well as 2 Limbsaver Modular Nodes on each limb.
Compound: 33” Doinker Platinum with 4oz and a 12” Doinker Platinum Side Rod with 8 oz. Each bow also uses Gen-5 Dampers on all rods and has an A-bomb out the back of the bow with around 2-3oz of weight.

Most Memorable Event/Shoot/Win: I have three; the first of these would have to be when I shot 1362 as an Intermediate Recurver at the 2010 Youth Nationals, the second was shooting against Ryan Tyack at the 2011 Youth National in Matchplay and going to a shoot-off where we both shot tens. But my overall most memorable event was the 2011 Indoor Nationals where I shot my first cadet World Record.
