Paola’s daily routine
My name is Paola Ortíz Paloma, I’m a student from the
English language program and I’m also an AIESEC‘s
volunteer. I’m 19 years old, I live in Chapinero. My routine on
weekdays is very amazing and casual. First, I wake up at 5:00 am, then I get up at 5:05 am.
I take a shower for 10 or 15 minute. More or less at 5:25 am I get dressed, then I make my
breakfast and have it at 5:45am. When I finish I brush my teeth and finally I get ready to
leave home at 6:00am. After that I walk until 57 street with 7th career, I arrive at 6:15am
and I take the Transmilenio bus at 6:20am. It takes 45 minutes or more to arrive
at Minuto de Dios station, I get off the bus and I walk at the university.
My schedule is from 7 o’ clock to 1 o’ clock. On
Mondays I have a lot of time to visit the foreign
volunteers at the ‘’Casa de igualdad y
oportunidades para las mujeres’’ in Chapinero.
After that I go home, when I arrive I have lunch that
my mom made. I rest for a while (30 minutes) and
then I work with AIESEC. On Wednesdays I have meetings at the Salle University to
agree business strategies from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and
Friday I take a time to do my homeworks from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
In the evenings I sometimes make the dinner because my mother arrives
home a little tired. Then I watch TV with my parents, after that I feel
very relaxed because I can chat on my mobile phone with my friends.
Finally I fall asleep at about 10:30pm.
On Saturdays I always get up at 7:15am, I tidy the apartment, I wash clothes and I make the
breakfast for my mother and my older brother, after that I leave home at 12:00pm to go at
Central University to my LCMs (Local committe meetings)
