United Methodist Church at 410 N . Main . Participants are encouraged to be back by 9:40 a . m . to line up . Parade will begin at 10 a . m . sharp . The judges will begin looking at entries at 9:20 a . m .
There are six categories : bicycles , small vehicles , costumes , pets , floats and ponies . Small vehicles may include battery operated vehicles such as “ Power Wheels ”; however , a parent must accompany the entrant around the square . No motorized vehicles such as mopeds , go-carts , motorcycles , ATVs or remote controlled vehicles may be used . All of these types of vehicles will be turned away . Floats may be pulled by lawnmowers , garden tractors , or ATVs with an adult operator only . The committee has final say on vehicles pulling floats .
Results will be taken to the Information Tent where they will be posted . Winners will be announced on the Main Stage as soon as the Kiddie Parade is over and the judging is finished . Ribbons for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place in each category will be awarded .

Best of Parade
Owl Pharmacy will sponsor the $ 500 “ Best of Parade ” prize again this year for a float participating in the Big Parade . In addition to the “ Best of Parade ” prize there will be cash awards of $ 350 for first place and $ 150 for second place in three categories : 1 ) Businesses and Industries ; 2 ) Churches and Schools ; 3 ) Clubs , Organizations and Other .
Cribbage and Bingo
There will be a cribbage tournament at City Hall on Pancake Day . Registration begins at 8 a . m . and play at 8:30 a . m . There is a $ 5 entry fee . Prizes will be awarded . For more information , contact Mike Gill at 641-895-1255 . Bingo will be back at Pancake Day this year . The Eagles Club will offer the activity at The Ritz Theatre starting at 3:30 p . m . The cost will be $ 1 per sheet .
Pancake Day Trailer The Pancake Day trailer will be located in front of the chamber on the SW corner of the square . Several items will be for purchase and the trailer will also be the location of the Kiddie Parade , Best of Parade and the Fun Run results .
Crafts Vendors
More than 20 craft vendors , multiple businesses and nonprofits will be set up on the Southeast and East side of the square .
Inflatables !
Check out our inflatables on the northeast side of the courtyard . Visitors can purchase single tickets for $ 1 each , or buy a wristband for unlimted rides for $ 25 per person .
Beverage garden
There will be a beverage garden this year , opening at 2:30 p . m . Drinks are $ 5 each . Those partaking must remain in the fenced area of the beverage garden .

We hope you ’ re hungry . At this year ’ s Pancake Day , we are looking to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ® for pancakes served .
With the exception of the gourmet line , pancakes are free and all-you-can-eat .
The current record is 13,000 pancakes held by a Hy-Vee in Blue Springs , Missouri on June 25 , 2021 .
50 States of T-Shirts ! It ’ s a small world , after all . This year people all over the United States will be celebrating Pancake Day from afar .
T-shirts were sold and sent to each of the 50 states , as well as Puerto Rico .
