9.2 Traffic Conditions Prior to Start to Work Traffic counts, road capacities and Level of Service’s (LOS) for 14 major road links are presented in the 2015 Annual Traffic Count Update dated April 16, 2015 as provided by the Town of Palm Beach. This was the most recent traffic data available for the Town. As shown in the following figures, hourly volume patterns at the detector station are generally consistent across weekdays. Based on typical traffic patterns throughout Palm Beach County, traffic volumes are typically higher on weekdays, with lower overall and peak hours on Saturdays and Sundays (with Sundays being the lowest volume during the week). 14 13 9 6 FLAGLER MEMORIAL BRIDGE The report contains the peak season 2015 traffic count data presented in a series of tables. Directionality is well-defined, with traffic heading onto the island in the AM peak hour and off the island in the PM peak hour.
