the river Po transmitted to her the passion
for swimming, a sport she practiced for
many years also in a sporting way. For
sure it’s her innate vitality that makes her
as a sportive d.o.c., one of those people
who never stops and never gives up “play
something” when possible.
Volleyball is in the fate of Alice: in
Rivergaro, the place where she was born
and where she returnes from her academic
trip, was born a society of volleyball that
welcomed young people aroused from that
area: “ When I was a swimmer, I realized
that fighting against a stopwatch to break
down a time was not for me: I needed to
share the sport, and to have an opponent
to beat. I admire a lot the swimmers, but
I couldn’t feel completely comfortable
practicing this sport at a competitive level,
and for this reason I admire those who can
do it at high levels. I tried volleyball and it
was love at first sight. “
The society in which Alice began to
play and dream is the
Rebecchi Lupa, with
whom she lived the
experience
of
youth
playing also the finals
under 18 with ideavolley
Bologna. Thanks to these
experiences she began
to love the volleyball life
and to aspire to become
one. But It is not easy to
find space in an unstable
movement like ours, in
which play volleyball
may mean giving up
the studies and to form
beyond
the
sports
