developed into a complete player. He will do whatever he needs to do and he is a winner. Next year will be vital for him and our team. He will have to lead on both sides of the ball next year.”
This is the final year of the current district as realignment happens next year. Johnson has already looked into what the next two years could bring.
“ I think it could be us, Apple Springs, Trinidad and maybe Calvert again. I think they could move Fannindel back in the district,” Johnson said. “ I thought we rolled well through district this year. When Darrieon went down against Bynum and missed the last district game, it seemed like he never recovered. I thought some of the guys did well with Velasquez, Harrison, Micah Reed and Nick had good district play. We got a little complacent in that playoff game and it bit us.”
