PACKING FOR YOUR TRIP
Winter
Mild winters, highs in upper 50s to mid-60s, and lows in upper 30s and 40s, rarely snows but occasional chilly rain.
Pack:
• Jeans and pants
• Medium-weight coat or warm jacket
• Sweaters, or fleece pullovers
• Waterproof shoes
• Christmas PJs!
Summer
Typically hot and humid with temperatures from the upper 70s to mid-90s and sometimes over 100 degrees.
Pack:
• Lightweight, breathable clothing
• Cotton, linen, and moisture-wicking fabrics
• Sandals
• Reusable water bottle
• Shorts
• Tank tops
• Dresses
Spring
Temperatures ranging from upper 40s to low 80s, with frequent rain showers and occasional thunderstorms.
Pack:
• Light layers
• Medium-weight or rain jacket
• Walking shoes
• Umbrella
Fall
Early fall temperatures range from mid-70s to 80s but cool to a range of 40s-60s by November.
Pack:
• Shorts & t-shirts for early fall,
• Jeans and long sleeves for late fall
• Light jacket or sweater for evenings
• Closed-toe shoes for walking
• Layers that can be easily added or removed
