SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH
Built in 1893, using 675,000 bricks which were molded by hand and baked on site. The church boasts stained glass from Italy and France, a painted ceiling, and a Pilcher pipe organ. Tours are available by appointment. 903-729-2463

ANDERSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE
Built in 1914, the courthouse features beaux-arts architecture with a double-spiral marble staircase and a beautiful stainedglass montage in the dome.
Did you Know?
This historic structure was built after the 1886 courthouse was destroyed by arson when someone allegedly tried to discard incriminating evidence.
