PALESTINE VISITOR CENTER
Located in a restored railroad depot , more than 115 years old , the Center offers state and regional travel literature which includes , maps of the city and surrounding area , a self-guided tour of Palestine , and information on events and accommodations . Brochures and personal assistance for tourists are available during business hours . Tour and convention group assistance is available upon advanced request . Self-guided walking and driving tours are available sharing information about our downtown , murals , sculptures , Black history , Railroad history and the historic North and Southside Districts .
