PEARCE MUSEUM: The Pearce Museum at Navarro College features collections on the Civil War and Texas History, Modern Western Art and Prehistoric Central Texas. The museum is named after collectors Chuck and Peggy Pearce, who donated their large collections of Western art and historical documents.
Hours are 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Monday through Friday and noon to 4 p. m. Saturday. Admission is $ 8 for adults, $ 6 for seniors and $ 4 for students.

PIONEER VILLAGE: According to legend, Pioneer Village is located on the spot called“ Watering Hole” where settlers formed a circle of defense against a Native American attack. Today it’ s a fun place of interest in Corsicana’ s downtown where everyone can connect with the past. The park has several historic buildings, including some that are 140 years old. Visitors can step inside a log cabin to see the Lefty Frizzell Museum, see a real stage coach and visit the Les Cotton Memorial Peace Officers Museum, all within a short walking distance.

PLANETARIUM AT NAVARRO COLLEGE: Located inside the Cook Education Center, the Planetarium at Navarro College features a 60-foot dome and 200 seats. Visitors can see immersive astronomy and science-themed programs at 1, 2, or 3 p. m. Tuesday through Friday and at 1 or 2 p. m. Saturday. Children’ s programs are at noon Saturday.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS LAKE: The third largest lake in Texas is a cool spot for world-class fishing and boating fun near Corsicana. The 41,000 acre lake is up to 75 feet deep, with opportunities to catch varieties of bass, crappie, catfish, smallmouth buffalo and carp. SCHULMAN’ S MOVIE BOWL GRILLE: This entertainment complex has more to offer than just movies. Movie goers can enjoy dinner, drinks and dessert from Billy’ s Grille while reclining in comfortable theater seats. They can also play arcade games, bowl or play games in a virtual reality experience called HOLOGATE X, which has 4D effects.

COLLIN STREET BAKERY: Victorious in the Texas fruitcake wars with sales of roughly 1 million fruitcakes annually, the family-owned Collin Street Bakery offers two shops in Corsicana, and both locations are a treat to visit. Locations in Corsicana include the original one on Collin Street, a larger store next to Interstate 45, while others are in Lindale and Waco. Cookies, cakes, breads, coffee and sandwiches are some of the many favorites for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
RUSSELL STOVER: The Russell Stover factory gift shop is a fun place to stop for discounted chocolates, coffees and hand-dipped ice cream cones. Founded more than 100 years ago in 1923, the company now has several stores and three factories throughout the nation, and Corsicana is one of the few cities in the US with both.
