As PCT productions and audience sizes grow, the organization’ s board of directors also continues seeking funds for renovations.
“ We have not just well-attended shows and sponsors, but we also have some very generous donations and grants, so we’ re working very hard on gussying up our lady so we can keep her open and keep producing quality shows,” said Carol Moore, a PCT board member who directed the spring production of“ A Sound of Music.”
“ We’ re very fortunate to have the donations we’ ve received recently,” Moore said.
This summer’ s production of“ Alice in Wonderland,” set for July 18 through 27, will give dozens of students the opportunity to gain experience performing onstage during their summer break, while the fall production of“ Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical,” from Oct. 17 to Oct. 26, will feature the true story of two Texas outlaws.
Auditions for productions are open to the public, and tickets are $ 12 for students or $ 17 for adults when purchased online. For information about the theater and showtimes, visit www. thetexastheater. com.
