level: oppressive colonization, bloody military repres- sion in the occupied territories, our marginalization in Israel, and the impossibility of talking about the return of refugees. More recently, in 2014, another, very “impressive”, movement has been created: the “Women in White” are advocating “for peace”, which has a nice ring to it. But the expression is utterly devoid of mean- ing. So we approached them and tried to convince them Nazareth 64 Memories of 1948 of the urgent need to be honest, to stop the manipu- lations and lies. Peace will come only if we build two independent states, Palestine and Israel, within the bor- ders agreed by the United Nations in 1967, each state with its own capital, East Jerusalem for Palestine and West Jerusalem for Israel, and if crucial questions such as the return of refugees are addressed. It is that peace and no other, which can create unanimity.
