Spring is budding all around us , especially on the estate at Sabor a Pasion . Every year , after a cold and grey winter , we are excited to see what floral rewards nature has to offer .
When I am not in the kitchen , I ’ m usually outside keeping hedges trimmed , lawns mowed , plants watered , and vines tamed . No matter the time of year , I keep everything looking tidy for our bed & breakfast and restaurant guests . Nature can ’ t always be tamed , but it ’ s important the view is an enjoyable part of the getaway and aesthetically , the scene is set for a chance to unwind and relax .
After 19 years in Anderson County , we still can ’ t predict how the seasons will change from year to year . Sometimes winter is very cold , other times like this January , unseasonably warm . It makes it nice for the guests who can still enjoy their private cottage patio and the several outdoor eating areas on the property . It ’ s a quieter time as we recharge
WINTER EDITION 2023 and settle into a new year . Then , after we get past the rush of Valentine ’ s Day , things get busier with spring starting and Dogwood Trails .
