Bounce into summer

FROM THE EDITOR

Spring has turned into an early summer in East Texas this year . Whether you ’ re new to the community , or a long-time resident , it ’ s a great time to get out and explore everything Palestine has to offer . Meet local artists and see their unique creations during the monthly first Saturday Art Walk . Another great spot for breakfast or brunch is Jocelyn ’ s Donuts , which you can read all about in this edition of Palestine Magazine . We also recapped the 2023-24 season highs and lows for spring sports for the Palestine Wildcats , Westwood Panthers , Elkhart Elks , Frankston Indians , Grapeland Sandies , Oakwood Panthers and Cayuga Wildcats . Columnist Chris Keller educates craft beer enthusiasts on the importance of carbonation in the brewing process . Look for a few familiar faces in our Around Town photo spread ! As always , a special thanks to our readers and advertisers for making this magazine possible and supporting local journalism . Communities and businesses thrive when they support each other . We

hope everyone will explore , shop and eat locally this spring and summer !
Best wishes and warmest regards ,
