Fall in love with Davey Dogwood Park , where 200-acres of forested land features miles of hard surface roads , hiking and biking trails and scenic views .
The season also offers amazing color for picnics , photo shoots , hiking and nature walks in the 700-acre community forest .
Start in Palestine and take the Pineywoods Autumn Trail , a 145-mile road trip which includes historical markers and magnificent fall colors sure to satisfy the whole family . Autumn color arrives in Anderson County sometime in late October and last through late November .
