There were lots of celebrations and moments of fun over the last quarter of the year . We honored the groundbreaking for CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health Systems ’ s emergency hospital , celebrated our young entrepreneurs with YES ! Day , enjoyed the YMCA ’ s opening day of soccer , we celebrated the opening of a variety of new businesses including Smoothie King , dressed up for Halloween , paddled the Neches for the annual Wilderness Canoe Race , celebrated PRMC receiving the inaugural National Quality Strategy Platinum Award ‒ its highest honor for clinical quality , Painted Palestine Pink while raising money for local breast cancer testing and care , enjoyed a number of fun fall festivals and events , and celebrated our Filipino-American communities annual 29th annual fiesta in honor of ‘ Our Lady of Fatima .’
