Time slow down so we can revel in the holiday
I wish time would slow down a little this year. I have blinked and October and November are gone. Fall sped by and before we know it it will be Christmas, and then time to usher in a new year.
The holiday season is always the highlight of the year, with so many fun events and activities here in the pineywoods of East Texas. I want all the holiday moments and traditions to feel magical and lasting.
Our 2025 Holiday edition explores the Fall Foliage Tour that travels through our community, looks at the top Christmas Movie bucket list, takes a ride on the Polar Express and much more!
Christmas is a very special time in our community, with fun holiday events for everyone to enjoy, make sure you take a peek at our calendar so you don’ t miss out on all the holiday merriment!
Our holiday magazine cover this year pays tribute to our downtown, and the wonderful businesses located there. Each year I challenge myself to shop locally for as many gifts as I can on my Christmas list. More often than not, I’ m able to get everything I need right here in our community. I hope you’ ll all join me in shopping and supporting local businesses this holiday season!
