Player spotlight A. J. Donnell
The Preseason Defensive Most Valuable Player in A. J. Donnell might look like a gentle giant off the field but on it, he is a player to watch out for in 2025.
The senior defensive back hopes to give opposing quarterbacks issues during games with his size and athletic ability from the opening whistle to the final buzzer.
Coach Paul Gould said Donnell has natural instincts and knows exactly where to be at the right time for the defensive unit.
A. J. Donnell took time out for a photo at the Redlands Hotel in Palestine. He looks to back up his Defensive Most Valuable Player recognition this season.
