Our Program
Southside Baptist Child Care Center began in October , 1968 . It provides a nine month program of Preschool classes for three years old as well as for four years old ; daily child care for children ( 6 weeks through 5 years ), after school care for school age children , and care during holidays / summer vacation . The Center is governed by a church-appointed committee , which meets regularly to study and to establish the policies of the Center in the best interest of the children involved .

Christian Heritage Academy is a school which meets the academic needs of children grades K through 8 , whose parents desire the highest academic standards in an environment that promotes the basic tenets of the Christian faith . CHA is operated as a non-profit , non-denominational educational ministry of Southside Baptist Church , Palestine , Texas and is governed by the CHA School Board . CHA ’ s purpose is to provide a superior education in a Christian environment .
