The Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce with being over 540 members strong,
understands that in order to have a strong economic environment you must have a
strong community. We are truly blessed in our community to have leaders, business
owners, educators and citizens who realize that we all share in the responsibility of
creating economic success and happiness within our community.
Whether you’re visiting for the day, looking for a new place to call home, or you’re
already a resident of Palestine, you will quickly feel the southern hospitality and see
you are in a city with a big heart and plenty of opportunities. Our rich history dates
back to 1846, and the Chamber was established in 1930 to advocate for and support
the prosperity of Palestine and our area businesses.
The Chamber’s goal is to work toward improving the quality of life for all through
the support and commitment of its members, volunteers and committees. The pro-
grams and events we present provide extraordinary opportunities to grow needed
networks and gain new insights to address the ever-changing challenges facing all of
us in business today. We are always creating new networking and promotional oppor-
tunities to help our member businesses succeed and grow, including space to advertise on the Chamber website,
business referrals, monthly networking opportunities, and continuing education.

Palestine is a special place filled with people who understand the good
old-fashioned culture of southern hospitality and the importance of building
relationships on every level. Having the advantage of being born & raised in
Palestine I am thankful for what we have built here. I am always interested in talking
to newcomers in our community and I am reminded by them of what a beautiful
place we live and how wonderful the people of Anderson County are.
It is an exciting time to be a member of the Palestine Area Chamber of
Commerce. We continue to partner with our local government and other
organizations to pursue improvements in the overall quality of life for the city,
county, and region. Our success in achieving our mission and purpose is due
to a collaborative effort from the Chamber Board of Directors, Members,
Ambassadors and the City of Palestine.
