After analysis, we have discovered that the author wrote this poem from
memory. In fact, it is not the full poem it is the last stanza. The poem, La Mejor
Tinta (the best ink),was written by René Díaz Almeida. When it was originally
written, the author was in prison. The poem seems to stress how much power
words can have and how nothing can stop the patient from writing.
Here is the verse in English,
They have taken everything
The pens
The pencils
But they have not taken the ink of my life
-my own blood-
and with her I still write verses.
In addition, we are not sure why the entry is signed Rohtua, that is not the pa-
tients name. Furthermore, when the patient mentions words interpretations we
