Colin Halliday is a painter that applies power to every stroke he makes with his palette
knife onto the surface he wants to cover. The immediacy of application is evident and what
also clear is that Colin creates on site (plein-air) . The feeling he generates with his painting
is one of ‘being-there’ whilst the creative process occurs.
Colin travels afar andwide to create his work and has regular ‘courses’ for beginners and
those who wish to develop their art and want to share the passion for ‘painting’ that Colin
demonstrates with each new work.
