out the way they had hoped with a 3-1 loss
to Drammen Solid, Hulk Kiev did enough to
move onto the “16.” Drammen Solid looked
strong in the preliminary rounds losing only
to Ronholt Blast. In the other Groups Italy’s
Scorpions Milano, MLKings Prague, Bad Boys
Oss, Amsterdam Heat and Pyatigorsk Russian Roulette each led their respective Groups
when the Preliminary rounds were done.

played and all but two of them were single
point victories. After a 15th place finish in the
first Millennium event this year Roosters ULM
advanced to the Quarterfinals where they
beat a really good team in FiveStar Lleida,
3-1. Hulk beat Scorpions 2-1, Amsterdam
Heat beat ML Kings 2-1, and Bad Boys Oss
sent Freestyle Moscow to the grandstands
3-1.
After a strong showing in the Semifinals
Roosters finally reached the end of the line as
they lost a tough battle with Hulk Kiev. That’s
two straight first place SPL1 finishes for Hulk
this season. Amsterdam Heat rolled over Bad
Boys 4-0 to take third place.
The SPL2 also had 24 teams entered and after the Preliminary rounds were complete it
was Scalp ME Saulx les Chartreux with three
straight dominating wins. Instinct Gemoss
Riga, Belgium’s Breakout Spa 2 and Fighter
Pro-Shar Perm each also had three Preliminary round wins. The team that seemed to
get stronger as the event went on was Dynamix Metz, who made it all the way to the
Semifinals, where they easily rolled Toulouse
