Tippmann MagFed 98 Kit
Tippmann’s new TCR marker wasn’t the
legendary company’s only new product
at the 2014 Extravaganza, nor was it
even their only MAG-FED product at the
show! Tippmann’s back-bone product,
the 98 Custom, got in on the mag-fed
action with a new kit now available from
Tippmann to quickly and easily convert
that marker from hopper-fed to mag-fed
action. A simple kit containing a snapon adapter that takes the place of the
marker’s clamping elbow and magazines
to feed it, the player need only spend a
few minutes and a few bucks to get into
a whole new style of paintball and do it
with a proven platform. Though fed from
the side much like their SMG-60 marker
of old, or a Sten submachine gun which
may appear a bit awkward, the ability of recreational players to easily and inexpensively
get into the mag-fed game is an excellent release from a company that has truly helped
