Tippmann MagFed 98 Kit
Tippmann’s new TCR marker wasn’t the
legendary company’s only new product
at the 2014 Extravaganza, nor was it
even their only MAG-FED product at the
show! Tippmann’s back-bone product,
the 98 Custom, got in on the mag-fed
action with a new kit now available from
Tippmann to quickly and easily convert
that marker from hopper-fed to mag-fed
action. A simple kit containing a snapon adapter that takes the place of the
marker’s clamping elbow and magazines
to feed it, the player need only spend a
few minutes and a few bucks to get into
a whole new style of paintball and do it
with a proven platform. Though fed from
the side much like their SMG-60 marker
of old, or a Sten submachine gun which
may appear a bit awkward, the ability of recreational players to easily and inexpensively
get into the mag-fed game is an excellent release from a company that has truly helped
define paintball for decades. www.Tippmann.com
Planet Eclipse HDE Gear Bag
While Planet Eclipse may not
have used the 2014 Paintball Extravaganza to launch
a remarkable new paintball
gun like their LV-1 Ego or the
GSL, or even a new ETek,
that doesn’t mean their booth
wasn’t a great place to be. One
of the products there that collected plenty of attention was
their massive HDE camo kit
bag, a rolling gear bag large
enough to haul it all to the
field and back again in style!
Offering that signature Eclipse
gear bag durability for season
after season of dragging gear
through airports, parking lots, gravel and dirt without skipping a beat, the massive HDE
gear bag can fit everything from tactical equipment to tournament gear including markers, goggles, shoes, clothing and tools with room to spare. You may need a pickup truck
to haul it, though, as you’d have a better chance of fitting your Fiat 500 into this thing
than fitting this into your Fiat 500. www.PlanetEclipse.com
