Division Two’s 26 team schedule
would make for a long hard road to
the podium. To win the event would
take advancing past the four game
preliminary round, and wins in the
ocho round, the quarterfinals, the
semifinals and the finals.
RNT Str8killas, Pr1me, and New
England Avalanche II were perfect through their first four games,
which meant they could skip the
ochofinals and go directly to the
quarterfinals. In the quarters Pr1me
beat Tampa Bay Revolution 4-1, but
RNT Str8killas and New England
Avalanche II did not fare as well,
with both losing by a single point.
Revo II, who knocked off Avalanche
II in the quarterfinals after having
only two preliminary round wins,
beat Rack City Klutch in the semis.
Sometimes it pays to get hot at the
right time. Pr1me beat TCP Wrecking Machine in the semis to advance
as well. In the finals Revo II stayed
hot beating Pr1me 503 to claim the
Division Two first place prize. Rack
City Klutch beat TCP Wrecking Machine to take third place.
