OXCC Paintball, home of the PSP Mid-Atlantic Open, the NPPL
Northeast Open, the Mid-Atlantic Paintball League and numerous
scenario games each season, hosted their flagship scenario event,
the Battle of the Bulge, December 14 at their impressive facility on
the Maryland/Delaware border. Park owner Rick Carver and his
staff worked diligently throughout the 2013 season and especially
in the months and weeks leading up to the Battle of the Bulge to update and improve their already remarkable playing field to provide
the very best experience for their attending customers. Though for
paintball purposes the weather for the 2013 installment of the Battle
of the Bulge wasn’t exactly perfect, the weather was at least slightly reminiscent of the historical event, hundreds of players and
several industry personalities made the trip to OXCC for the
event, and the game was a well-run success.
Snow was already on the ground at OXCC Paintball in
Chesapeake City, Maryland as the days counted down
to the Battle of the Bulge scenario. Even more snow,
a wintry mix in-fact, was forecast for the day of the
game and promoters felt this may have put a damper
on attendance for the event, which totaled just over
300 players. The weather for the day turned out cold
