someone in need at the last second. It never
ceases to amaze how a game of strategy and
controlled aggression can bring people from
all walks of life together to achieve a common
goal, and in this instance it was to have the
experience of a lifetime!
Day Four, the Sunday club, 8am calls for
most teams. Some of theses teams had played
till 10pm the night before, so there was sleep
being pried out of weary players eyes, pods
being slowly filled, guns getting new batteries
and a general feel of quiet excitement filled
the Matsuri hall. Initial games were called,
nervous players entered the field awaiting
that last 10 seconds to play for their lives
and countries. After those first games found
some teams working on new strategies, others feeling confident having blitzed the team,
and those yet to play were off finding a good
strong coffee! Thank goodness for 100 Plus
and Cat in the Box with their coffee stand!
