Aftershock, with Renick Miller at the forefront, went on to become one of the best professional teams of all time, winning more World Cup titles than any other team and developing a reputation as one of the toughest teams on the circuit. Miller developed that team’s success and reputation into a successful business, with numerous Bad Boyz Toyz paintball stores and a famous field, the Badlandz. At the Badlandz, which has hosted numerous professional paintball tournaments, Miller and company built some of the most famous Hyperball fields in the world, featuring snakes and ladder-type bunkers that kept the concept of crawling in the game even after it came out of the woods. Later, Miller became one of the original franchise owners in the National X-Ball League. Bill and Dawn Mills That whole paintball on the internet thing? Yeah that was Bill and Dawn Mills. They did that. Their website, WARPIG, the World And Regional Paintball Information Guide, was for years the only and for years after, still the very best online resource for paintball information and interaction and Bill and Dawn rapidly became some of the most beloved people in paintball. While everyone and their brother now has a paintball news and information website, they all owe their existence to Warpig, a site that still carries on today with news, articles, information and a rich collection of coverage of events dating back many years. Larry Motes This twenty-plus year paintball enthusiast and tournament player wasn’t the first to create a regional tournament series, but his regional tournament series, the CFOA, did so many things right and made so many people happy that, in its heyday, it rivaled the major, national series in size and influence. Now promoting three-man, five-man and X-Ball (RaceTo) events around the southeast and aligned with the PSP, the CFOA continues on today, emulated, imitated and copied by leagues from California to Florida. Greg Muller Greg has been a serious player, event promoter, event sponsor, paintball product sales rep and he now calls Valken Paintball his home where he is the company’s Operations Manager. Greg has been in the game since the early 1980s. Charlie Nelson Not only was Charlie Nelson one of the founders of the Nelson Paint Company, he invented the paintball. The Nelson Paint Company has continued to manufacture paintballs through 2010 and
