its home now, the World
Cup has become the largest
event in paintball’s history.
Jerry Braun was also an instrumental part of the NPPL
in its early days and a force
behind teams like Ground
Zero and New York Xtreme,
in addition to owning Paintball Sports, a long-standing paintball magazine that
ceased publication a few

JJ Brookshire
Like most of us JJ got his
start in paintball first as a
rec player, then moved into
the tournament scene. While
still a player JJ worked at
National Paintball Supply
(South) under Rick Fairbanks and Doug Brown
and then for Brass Eagle
and finally back at National Paintball Supply but this
time the NPS East version
run by Gino Postorivo. JJ
has also written for several
paintball magazines, founded the organization known
as SPPLAT, was chairman of
the paintball subcommittee
of ASTM and the one that
brought William Shatner into
the game of paintball.
Doug Brown
Doug is another paintball

for more than 25 years. He’s
been a partner in National
Paintball Supply (with Rick
Fairbanks), a player and
now you’ll find him working
with Milsig.
Steve Bull

governing body in the UK

saved the game from being banned several times in
Europe. As a field owner he
has also advised many other
countries on the establishment of their own paintball
governing bodies. Steve’s
best work is done behind the
scenes but he has helped
shape UK paintball for many
years.
