TOURNAMENT
This is the time of the season when most series take a break and start preparing for the final push for the final events. However we found ourselves winging our way to Kiev Ukraine for the Friendship Cup. The event is carefully laid out and takes a bit to plan. But lets step back a bit and give you the 411 on the event and the amazing venue that this event is at. Pro Arena is the masterpiece of Stanislav Malieiev. The company, ProPaintball, was started in 2008 and from that Pro Arena was born. The venue itself just isn’t paintball. It features paintball, airsoft, ATV’s, wakeboarding, skim boarding, pubs, indoor paintball arena and several other adrenalin pumping activates located in the middle of the fast pace city life of Kiev. Its any adrenalin junkies paradise. Organizer and one-woman army, Vlada Liashchenko, heads up the event. This year’s event took a different approach and started thinking outside of the box, well outside of Ukraine. Planning this event actually started in February. Vlada spent several hours each day posting, contacting teams and giving the promotion and marketing of the event 110%. Teams round the world were invited to the event and experience of the Ukrainian culture and of course pristine paintball action.
