The Citadel is a third faction during this event with the main goal of making as much profit off of both teams as possible . The Citadel has its own “ town ” on top of a large hill overlooking the battlefield . The Citadel is composed of merchants to barter resources with , and many guards to help safeguard the town from the other two ruthless teams that are always looking to take advantage of any wastelander they can prey on . The Merchant and its guards are very easy to identify , each of them has a custom-made suit of armor , from scrap metal and other odds and ends scavenged over the years , A large and in charge mohawk and a hefty war banner strapped to their back so there is no mistaking who they are when them come scavenge your goods . Unlike most third factions in a game , The Citadel ’ s job is not to balance the game , but to barter , Steal and other wise take advantage of each team to gain as many resources as possible by the end of the event and then escape the wasteland with all their goods before any of the other teams have a chance to rob their town .
For this event , Red Feather Paintball has written a staggering 100 + Missions for each team to complete during the course of the weekend . Every 30 Minutes each commander will get timed missions to complete for resources . These missions are split up into 3 different resource missions : Fuel , Water or Ammo . Every half hour the commander may only choose to do 2 out of 3 resource missions to attempt and the 3rd unpicked mission is destroyed .
These missions incorporate many aspects of the Post-Apocalyptic theme like , constructing real motorcycles or cars , using Geiger Detectors to check for
