The Tri-State Xball league held their first event of the 2021 season at Long Live Paintball in Monroe , New Jersey . With a clean slate , three divisions ( Elite , Division Four and Division Five ) came to compete and be crowned the 2021 Event One winners . This season brought different competition to the Tri-State area with the inaugural of the Elite Xball Division and Division Five Xball . The two-day event showcased the Elite Division and Division Five on Saturday then Division Four on Sunday .
The Elite Division consisted of 8 teams ; Bay State Bandits , Brawl , Brooklyn Bears , Droogs Frankfurt , Leverage , Master Blasters , New England Wreckage and New York Wrecking Crew . The Elite Division brought together players that are currently ranked Pro , expro and those that are climbing the ranks of Divisional Paintball . We saw current Pro Players such as Brett Messer , Harrison Frye ,
Matt Darula and Frank Antetomaso . The game consisted of two brackets with Bay State Bandits , Brawl , Brooklyn Bears and New England Wreckage making it to the finals stage . The fight for Gold was earned by Bay State Bandits followed up by New England Wreckage with a Silver . Harrison Frye earned the title of the Elite Division MVP .
The same day as the Elite Division , was a 16 team Division Five , who leaned away from the traditional 5-man format and got a taste of the Xball format . The Division Five teams had a challenge within themselves to not only dial in on their shots but to experience clock management , more defined zone control and the importance of running efficient pits . The finals for Division Five ended with PL Pirates stealing their treasured Gold , Ballers Inc with a Silver and LI Hurricanes with a Bronze .
