The 2021 Sunshine State Major was held at the Brown Ranch in Kissimmee , Florida . Those with a long history of playing national-level tournament paintball would recognize this as the exact location the NPPL held the World Cup just after it moved from Old Town Kissimmee , then to Paintball World — and before paintball was played at Disney ’ s Wide World of Sports . NXL was formed after the split between the NPPL and Paintball Sports Promotions ( PSP ). The site is thick with paintball history . Aftershock won the first event held here . This is also the location where the original Avalanche played its last event in 2002 after the well-documented “ Sniper Incident .”
For those familiar with the area , Brown Ranch is located about two miles down Poinciana , just off Route 192 in Kissimmee . The site is five miles from Old Town , Kissimmee and close to dozens of hotels and more entertainment , restaurants and nightlife than a person could see in a lifetime .
