The final four Pro teams: London Attrition, Ranger Warsaw, Breakout Spa and reigning champs Lucky 15s Staffordshire. First up, London Attrition continued their strong play taking down Ranger Warsaw 4-3. Game two saw Breakout Spa take down Luck 15s Staffordshire 3-2. This would be the first final-round appearance of the season for both Breakout Spa and London Attrition.
The final round matchup between Breakout Spa and Attrition went like many of the Pro Sunday game … too close to call until the final horn sounded. Breakout Spa won a 5-4 battle against a very worth opponent in London Attrition. For the three-event Pro season, Breakout Spa’ s win made it three different Pro teams winning the three events. A strong end to the 2025 European Pro season indeed!

Semiprofessional Xball

Twenty-four teams entered the Semipro division of the European Championships here in Dreux, France. Many of these teams that have roots they go way back to the early days of European Paintball with teams like the Mayhem Tigers( formed in the mid-1980s), TonTon Purple, Ugly Ducklings, Stockholm Ignition and Fivestar 2. But coming into this event in the Semipro Xball division it was Trash Pandas that were the team to beat, after their second place showing in Portugal and their big win in England. It would take a total meltdown for the Trash Pandas to fall out of the top spot or two when the season comes to a close. More on that later …
Four divisions of six teams made up the Semipro Xball division in Dreux, as was the case in each of the previous NXLE events this season, but for the Czechia event that had no Pro or Semipro divisions on the docket. In the preliminary rounds here in Dreux, each of the top seeded teams won their four preliminary round games. Oslo Prodigy, SL Benifica, Molde Xtreme and Ballern Factory Team combined to go 20-0 in the prelims. That’ s why they were the top seeds.
In the ochos Portugal’ s Sporting CP beat the England’ s Mayhem tigers; Toulouse Purple knocked off Pimp, Indians sent BM United packing; and Outbreak HBI shutout the Ugly Ducklings. Both of Portugal’ s teams, SL Benifica and Sporting CP easily won their quarterfinal round games, as did France’ s Indians and Germany’ s Ballern Factory Team.
Both Ballern Factory and SL Benifica dominated their semifinal round games with Ballern knocking off the Indians 6-1 and SL Benifica beating fellow countrymen Sporting CP 4-0. Ballern Factory Team hung on for the final-round win over SL Benifica 3-2 for their first win of the season. Ballern Factory got better and better with each event this 2025 season with a ninth-place finish in Portugal, and second-place finish in the UK and the win here in France. SL Benifica won the opening event, severely stubbed their toes with a 16th place finish in England and of course battled to a secondplace finish in France.

Divisional Play

Division Two Xball saw 20 teams entered, including three American teams, a South African team and of course 16 European teams. In the preliminary rounds only one team went undefeated— and they went undefeated without giving up a single point in any of their four games. Freedom and Independence from the U. S., coached by Ryan Gray, went 4-0 in the prelims, winning by a combined score of 14-0— and the oldest member of the team was 18 years old. Incredible. www. paintball. media
