Remember the Alamo ! The famous cry that echoed throughout history was recreated on the fields of Top Gun Paintball in Jackson , New Jersey . The Alamo big game was the brain child of owner Carl Atkins Jr . and it ’ s one of their most popular big games . The game begins with the Texans on the one side of the Rio Grande , ( a small stream that cuts through the field ) and the Mexican Army on the other . There is a small pond where paint can be exchanged over and across and watching the paint splash into the water and skip across the surface of the water was a unique experience .
One of the rules of the game is the Texans cannot cross the river but the Mexicans can . The game starts with the Mexican army trying to cross the Rio Grande . Once doing so they push into Texas trying to force them into the Alamo . The midpoint of the field is a small town where a lot of action and paint is expended .
There are plenty of large trees and heavy brush to give cover ( great for photographers ). The game stops if the Texans are pushed all the way back to the fort .
