events this season , all of the top teams have had at least one bad outlier event . Dynamic had a 25th place finish ; Altitude Sickness had a 31st place finish ; Cleveland Chaos had a 12th place finish , and on and on at the top of Division Three .
When all was said and done and three days of paintball played , it was Dynamic that came out on top after shutting out Altitude Sickness 3-0 in the finals . Cleveland Chaos beat Veteran Militia Bravo to take third place .
Of the 22 teams that entered Division Four Xball , only The Leftovers and Tension won their four preliminary round games . And as fate ( or preparation and talent ) would have it , Tension and The Leftovers would meet in the Division Four finals . Tension would prove impossible to beat as they ran the table from the first game in the preliminary rounds to the 3-0 final round win over The Leftovers .
Fourteen teams entered Division Five Xball here in Chicago . To date TPP Factory , Gunnerz and Shut Up They ’ re Trying occupy the top of the leaderboard and after this event , not much of that would change . TPP Factory took down Gunnerz 3-2 in the finals and not sits atop the Division Five rankings board in a virtual tie with the team they just beat in the finals , Gunnerz .
Non Xball Games
A respectable 14 teams entered the Amateur Ten-Man division . At the conclusion of the eight game preliminary rounds it was Bum Life , Lonewolf PB , Chicago Aftershock , Hydra . Fit and Social Mutants leading the pack . In the finals it would be Bum Life over a well-stocked Chicago Aftershock team that featured players like Tami Adamson , Spesh Robinson , Aaron Rios , Aaron Tholey and Julian Maliszewski to name just a few . Hydra . Fit beat Lonewolf PB to take third place .
Midwest Betrayal beat With Intent to take first-place in the Open Seven-Man . Aftershock took third after their win over Social Mutants in the consolation game .
Sacramento Storm won the three-team Amateur WNXL ( all female ) Division . Aftershock beat Struggle to take firstplace in the Open Five-Man . Midwest Bounty won the Division 3 Five V Five ; Madagascar ’ s NMI took first in Division 4 Five V Five ; JakkBoyz won Division 5 Five V Five ; hydra Kidz took firstplace in the Youth Five V Five ; Lost Dutchman won the Amateur Three V Three ; Headbangers Reloaded won the Intermediate Three V Three ; and Noobies took first-place in the Novice Three V Three .
