As the crowds piled into the grandstands Sunday for the semifinals , no one could ask for a better top four : San Antonio X-Factor versus Red Legion and Tampa Bay Damage versus Edmonton Impact . Unlike the X-Factor versus Red Legion game , the Tampa Bay Damage versus Edmonton Impact semifinal round game was a close , careful battle . In the end it was Tampa Bay Damage over Edmonton Impact 5-4 .
The finals were set with Tampa Bay Damage , winners of the 2023 Philly and Chicago Majors , versus San Antonio X-Factor , a top contender at every event with no first-place finishes to show since winning two events and the rankings title in 2019 .
Another shot at a first-place win for San Antonio X-Factor came and went in the blink of an eye . Tampa Bay Damage took it to them from start to finish , taking first place by virtue of a 5-2 win over X-Factor .
