aggressive game play didn ’ t provide the results this event , but once they learn to harness their style , they ’ re going to be a problem for other teams . In Bracket 2 , Dark Riders controlled gameplay mixed with fantastic off the break shooting allowed them to go undefeated in the prelim round , Northside showed that Event 1 wasn ’ t a fluke by winning three matches and securing their way into the quarterfinals and the other three teams in the division battled to each win a match . Bracket 3 was a dog fight , with teams trading wins all over the place , when the smoke cleared Shakedown finished first with 3-1 record , losing only to Vigilantes who are getting better every time we see them , Second place in the bracket was NY Slugs who have also been working hard all season , finishing last was the Gabba Goons who put up a great fight all day in their first tournament .
The quarterfinal matchups were Northside vs . Rockets Trios and Overshot Factory Vs . NY Slugs , both of those matches started with the Slugs and Northside scoring dominant first points and then following up second ones that were a bit more methodical , but still enough to bring them into the semi ’ s . They both followed up a similar pattern in the next round , taking decisive wins against Dark Riders and Shakedown respectively , sending them into the first place match against each other .
