The semifinals were the end of the road for Baltimore Revo as they were beaten by San Antonio X-Factor 5-1 . San Diego Dynasty beat Los Angeles Infamous 5-3 in the semifinals . In the finals it really was all Dynasty as they rolled past X-Factor 7-4 , just as they did against X-Factor in the 2020 World Cup .
Of the twenty teams that entered the Semiprofessional Xball division of the Windy City Open Major , only Blast Camp won all four of their preliminary round games . The Hurricanes , Wolfpack , and Noobies each won three . Every other team won two games or less in round one .
In the quarterfinals Blast Camp continued their roll beating Kyiv United 7-3 . New Orleans Hurricanes , Wolfpack and Noobies also advanced to the semifinals . In the semis Blast Camp continued to dominate , not just winning by a point or two , but by wide margins — and in this case they beat Wolfpack 6-2 . Also in the semifinals New Orleans Hurricanes beat the Noobies 4-3 . Once again in the finals Blast Camp couldn ’ t be stopped as they rolled New Orleans Hurricanes 6-3 to take first place .
In Division Two Xball Killers and Mexico ’ s MX Dead Legion each went undefeated in the preliminary rounds . Both teams made it through the prelims , quarterfinal and semifinals . But Austin Notorious knocked off Killers 5-0 , while MX Dead Legion made it to the finals by virtue of a win over Grit X . In the finals Austin Notorious would win a nail-biter of MX Dead Legion 7-6 to take first place . Killers beat Grit X to take third place .
