Red Feather’ s Annual BYOP Event at Blastcamp Paintball
The battlefield at Blastcamp Paintball came alive again for Red Feather’ s annual BYOP event, The Purge: Fields at War. This year’ s grudge match pitted Michigan against Illinois in an all-out fight for bragging rights, pride, and paintball glory. Each state brought four heroes to represent their home fields, and since the event was hosted in Indiana, local players were encouraged to register as“ Place as Needed” to help balance the teams and act as generous hosts for both sides.
The rivalry started long before game day. In the weeks leading up to the event, social media lit up with playful banter and bold predictions. Michigan players bragged they would dominate, while Illinois players promised to bring the heat. The excitement built with every post, setting the stage for a showdown that would truly live up to the name The Purge. Commanders today face not only their opponents, but a mountain of choices and moving parts. Strategy alone is not enough. Emotional resilience and adaptability have become just as important to survival in the wasteland.

This year’ s format was simple and action-packed. There were no commanders, no special roles, and no superpowers. It was paintball at its purest level. Every player on the field had the chance to make a difference, with fast-paced missions and constant action that kept the energy high from start to finish.
