The Games

In the Pro preliminary rounds it was the aforementioned Chicago Aftershock doing what Aftershock does, winning seven of their eight games. ' Shock ' s roster, as it usually is, was filled with names you know... Todd Adamson, Billy Ceranski, Demetrius Ninios, Chris Hudson and Raney Stanczak, to name a few. Team Smoke also had a brilliant preliminary round showing, also with seven wins. While Smoke ' s roster doesn ' t have the star-power of Aftershock ' s, it ' s still elite, with players like Danny Manning, Ronnie Simpkins, Julian Maliszewski, Matthew Askren and Danny Manning.
Image also came out hot, winning six of eight first-round games. Adrenaline and The Misfits rounded out the top five and the class advancing to Sunday. Aftershock and Smoke earned a semifinals round bye, by finishing in the top two Pro spots in the prelims. That left Image, the Misfits and Adrenaline to battle it out for the one remaining final-round spot. www. paintball. media
