EMF 200— The Mil-Sim King, Real-Steel Feel, Tier 1
Then there’ s the EMF 200. Planet Eclipse basically said,“ Let’ s make the 100 again, but turn every dial to eleven.”
This thing screams mil-sim, with full aluminum upper, AR-style controls, and more tactical presence than most rental fleets combined. The EMF200 ' s handguard, grip, trigger guard, fire selector and mag release are all ARcompatible mil-spec. When you shoulder it, it feels like a rifle. Not a toy, not a gimmick, a legit tool.
It’ s running the new OP-R drivetrain at 115 psi, which means it’ s smoother, quieter, and even gentler on paint. You get a 16-inch S63 Tactical 4-piece barrel with a 0.689 insert, which basically equates laser accuracy out of the box. And those new CF20 Pro mags feed First Strikes like butter.
Ford, Ledz has this down to a true science. But, word on the street is Planet Eclipse has just started their LX range which will be very limited numbers of cool anodized markers. They just dropped the first color, EMF200( Guerrilla) recently. We ' re hearing PE will have some specials at the World Cup!
Price is where it flexes: US $ 895 – 925 for the black model and up to US $ 1,075 for special finishes, or CA $ 1,499.99 if you’ re buying north of the border. Yeah, it’ s pricey. But man, it feels worth it when you hold it.
This thing is a real-steel gem. It’ s what you’ d hand to a movie prop master and say,“ Make this look dangerous.”
I took it to Wasaga Beach this summer, and it didn’ t miss a beat.
The trigger is crisp, recoil is minimal, and the chrono readings barely move. I shot it in the heat and in the chill, and it told the same story: Smooth, steady, and no chopped paint.
Air efficiency? Pretty much identical to the 100. Two hundred shots from a 13 / 3000 air tank, 1,400-plus from a 68 / 4500. But because of that lower pressure, it’ s easier on brittle paint.
Color options are limited right now— mostly Black in Canada and a few Coyote, Blue Steel, and Dark Lava in the States, through ANSGear. But not it ' s mostly found in black, like the Model T for Henry
