The Cheetahs came out slow once again , looking to play their conservative and methodical game , but the Heroines were having none of it , and slowrolled them into submission , taking the match 3-1 . And keeping with the theme of the weekend , the ladies from Texas would continue to show their grit and in a back and forth battle against the seasoned veterans , they came out 3-2 over the Femmes . So it was the dominant Heroines and another Texas team in Dallas Vibe that headed to the Pro field to battle for the Cup .
On the main stage of paintball , the tension is always thick . But these two teams are becoming familiar with this kind of pressure . They have been here before . On the breakout point , Dallas Vibe had a tremendous breakout , dropping three bodies . The Heroines hung in , turning the game around to a 2 on 1 , but it wouldn ’ t be enough and Vibe went up 1-zip .
Not for long , though . Gerkary Blanco would own the second point for the Heroines , taking a huge bite out of the snake and applying quick pressure to take that point right back . created by the downpour slowed the pace of the game to a crawl . After nearly eight minutes clicked off of the clock , the Heroines would finally crack the game open to go up 2 to 1 .
The next game ran quickly , with Blanco yet again making a hard press up the snake , but unfortunately the fresh mud stopped her slide around the center knuckle and she would die in the exchange without a trade . Vibe would make their break here to tie the match up with only 35 seconds remaining on the clock .
Tied at 2-2 , Vibe came into the next point playing defense for the last 35 seconds , clearing looking to extend the match to overtime , but the Heroines shocked them by going full send . With time clicking off the clock , Jenn Fulk and Daniella Rojas would cut down the throat of the field with Rojas making the dive for the buzzer , launching with just one second remaining . After a thorough inspection , it was determined that she was clean . No hit . And the Heroine burst into victory , reclaiming the World Cup and the season title once again .
