Friday was a bit less dramatic .
The Heroines heartily defeated the Femmes who had players still arriving on Friday morning .
All of the off-field turmoil has taken its toll on the Angels , and that was reflected in their performance . And the Suricatos made easy business of them .
The Northern Lights were able to secure their first professional win in an overtime nailbiter against the other expansion team , Tiki ’ s Ohana . And Dallas Vibe swept the Sirens to a 7-0 mercy .
The match of the day was , by far , the late-afternoon matchup between the Cheetahs and a lineup of legendary talent for the Femmes that included Kat Secor , Heather Groezinger , Andrea Martinez , Tami Adamson , Roxy Montano , and Lihn Troung amongst others . The Cheetahs gave the collection of Hall-of-Famers a run for their money , edging out the match with a 3-2 which is definitely something they should treasure .

The second point would end in yet another 1v1 , taking the time of the match down to 2 minutes . But the match ended with a more than murky point as a referee threw a gross major and charged it to the Heroines without any clear determination . The point was awarded to the Northern Lights , making it a 2-1 score , so ultimately the penalty was moot . But it started a barrage of flags that would carry over into the next match with heavier consequences .
Opposite the Lights and Heroines in the split deck was a matchup between the European champions , Belladonna and the South American champions , Suricatos . The first point of this match saw Gina Lopez of the Suricatos battle out of a 4-on-1 . She found herself a three-pack out of the Doritos , but caught a cross-shot from the last Belladonna player standing when she leaned in for her last kill .
The second point was wild . To start the game , the Suricatos had a buzzer failure at break , but somehow all five players remained alive and still managed to
