Saturday morning , hundreds of players mill about their respective staging areas , whether in the large parking lot or the designated camping area , the air is charged with excitement as the weather is projected to be perfect for a weekend of battle . A little chilly in the morning , but with Game-On at 11:00 , the sun has a chance to burn off the morning dew and warm things up before the fight really kicks off .
Each scenario game begins with a player briefing given by the man himself , Honu , in which he covers safety rules and gameplay mechanics that are important for the grunts to anticipate how the game will shake out and learn about the tools that the Generals have in their arsenal . Afterwards , each General gives a rousing speech to motivate their own teams respectively . When everyone is dismissed , it ’ s time to strap up and load out to the Spawn Points . From the Red point of view , Easter split his contingents to attack the middle of the field , and the other half to swoop in from the upper section . The upper group was quickly stopped just outside the spawn point somehow . And there most of the combat would take place . Not too far from the Red base .
The assaulting Blue forces utilized “ rockets ” to destroy the buildings that served as the only bunkers Red players could utilize to build defenses and to stage counterattacks . However without being able to use the buildings properly , Blue began to slowly overwhelm the resistance and pushed even closer to the Spawn Point . It was at this moment that the Red players knew it was going to be a long weekend of fighting to get out of their spawn point .
