Sunday, the Red team won the battle of attrition and came out with stronger numbers. Perhaps due to the shift in the weather, the lines thinned a bit and the dedicated teams remained. Leveraging their strength in numbers, Red established field control and held their lines tight for the majority of the three hours remaining. Going into the final battle, by all appearances the score was neck-andneck to the finish line.
The final battle was fought under a dramatic rainfall as the skies cracked open, and the Red team again displayed their dominance in strength of force, discipline, and determination, and they walked away from the fight confident in their position.
Heading into the awards, the crowd was eager to find the results. Zeke announced his honorees first, naming Nick Charlier of Salty Peanuts as th blue MVP, citing his pump prowess and in gratitude for his work as the acting“ demo guy” with relentless AT. Honoring the importance of strategy and the mid games characteristic of an Ohana Event, the Blue MVT went to Boneyard Paintball who ran all of the reconnaissance and aided in the command tent all weekend. For their consistent pressure, Zeke then handed the Blue MoFO to Mercenaries Paintball, but gave a shoutout to Grim Reapers for putting in the work all weekend.
