A New Location for a Classic Scenario Event
CPX Legendary Events presented a scenario this month that represents an exciting change in direction, while maintaining the lore of a game with a history all its own. Historically held in the Carolinas, Bones and Ashes has become a staple season opening event for players in the scenario community. This year, a decision was made to move the event to a new location with a rapidly growing paintball scene: Texas.
“ I think overall the game went extremely well for being the first one,” Blue Commander Luis“ Rook” Rivas said.“ Texas was ready for CPX to have one in our backyard. I have commanded quite a few games both here in Texas and Oklahoma but Bones and Ashes was very different.”
To add to the excitement and anticipation, mere days prior to the event, Outdoor Xtreme announced that they had acquired What’ s Up Paintball, dubbed it“ Outdoor Xtreme Seven Points”, and added it to the growing collection of OX paintball parks throughout the country.
“ It was a nice change,” Rivas said.“ A little stressful, but fun.”
But with all of these changes, it was important to CPX Events to preserve the storyline that has given this game its character. According to the production the background and plot is as follows:
