On game days, the adrenaline was real. Hearing the buzzer, making the break, feeling the paint zip past, it reminded me why I love this sport. We played tough matches against Belladonna and Karma with some wins and some losses, but every point taught me something. There’ s no substitute for real-time experience. Competing against top-tier European players gave me insight into their field awareness, communication, and decision-making under pressure. The intensity of that environment sparked a deeper drive in me to keep learning, improving, and eventually seek new opportunities with other teams across Europe and the U. S.
Beyond the Field
To the women paintballers around the world who are curious about playing abroad, consider taking that step. It might feel unfamiliar at first, but growth begins where comfort ends. Embrace new experiences. You don’ t need to be fully ready. The journey itself will shape you.
The Portugal event reminded me that progress often comes from showing up and staying open. I returned to Singapore with broader perspectives, new connections,

It’ s not always about podiums. Sometimes, it’ s about what you bring back- the lessons, the friendships, and the quiet confidence to keep going.
As David Goggins once said,“ The only way to get better is to push yourself beyond your limits.” If paintball is part of your life, embrace the challenges. It is through them that we grow stronger.
