Having earned the respect of the crowds, the Trash Pandas did hold their own against SL Benefica, but ultimately succumbed in a 4-2 loss.
Benefica would take away gold, Trash Pandas silver, and the hard earned bronze went to Weapons Saint Dizier.

The women’ s division saw three teams enter into competition.
Belladonna showed that World Cup experience pays off. Despite taking a middle-of-the-pack finish at the World Cup last year, they have repeatedly taken gold medals in the Euro series the past two seasons, and they seem to be breaking away from the pack. Though many of their matches were slow, methodical, and not particularly high-scoring, they went undefeated once again in this event. At this event, they bolstered their roster with the addition of guest Alicia Valdivia from Team USA and The Heroines, and with anchors Mandy Bertram and Morel Charlotte, this team came in with an insurmountable advantage.
Karma and Drakaina were left to fight for last place, and they dogged it out in five matches through semifinals. In that battle, Karma had Drakaina’ s number this weekend, defeating them 3-2 and 4-1 in the prelims respectively, and then once more in a grueling 2-1 in the semi finals. the pits as a strategist and a motivator.
It will be interesting to see what Karma and Drakaina can do to answer back to Belladonna’ s dominance as the season progresses. We are looking forward to seeing them again at the Contenders Cup in Bor, Czechia June 6th through 8th,
